Happy New Year

Happy New Year, everyone! I'm looking forward to 2011 and whatever it may hold for me and my blogs. 2010 has been a good year for my scrapbooking life. I've discovered a whole new world of online support and inspiration from the many blogs I've come across. There are also several new "appliances" I want to get for my cropping "kitchen". Most notably, Lili of the Valley stamps, Sugar Nellie stamps, possibly a Cuttlebug, and I'm even looking into a Crop-a-dile! One of my sisters was given a Cricut for Christmas, and she passed along her Pazzles to me. I'm so excited to start using it!

Here's a birthday card I made for my cousin yesterday:

Sorry about the poor quality picture : / I forgot to take a picture before I put it in the envelope, so I quickly snapped a few pics after she opened it. The green papers are from Me & My Big Ideas Modern Milan paperstack, the black and green brads are American Craft, the flowers are Mulberry Paper Flowers from Prima Marketing (?), and the buttons and gems were found in my pile of miscellaneous junk.

Please leave a comment if you liked the card, and if you didn't like the card, leave a comment anyway with your idea of how to better it. I always appreciate any advice you veteran scrappers can give.

Thanks for viewing and God bless in the new year!!

Your dapper, damask-loving damsel,
Bethany

  1. Hi Bethany,
Thanks so much for leaving me such a nice note on my blog. I love the card that you made for your cousin. It's bright and cheery and I'm sure your cousin loved it.
To answer your question most of my cards are A2 size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") but I do make some that are 5"x7" and some square cards. Looking forward to seeing more of yours...Ivanka
